About Quality


To ensure standardized and enhanced quality of services rendered at Ayvalık Chamber of Commerce, ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System was implemented in order to adopt a Quality Management System and certification was granted by TSE (Turkish Standards Institution), one of the most reputable and internationally recognized standardization organizations.

Ayvalık Chamber of Commerce also submitted an application to TOBB (The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey) for a TOBB Chamber/Commodity Exchange Accreditation System Certificate. The application was positively received and we are looking forward to becoming an Accredited Chamber of Commerce following an audit estimated to take place in September 2012.

The Accreditation System which aims to expand the type and scale of services rendered in the Chambers of Commerce, to improve the quality of services and to adapt the Turkish Chamber System to the European Chamber System is among the ultimate goals set by Ayvalık Chamber of Commerce.

We strongly believe that becoming an Accredited Chamber will cement our reputation as the leading institution in the area.

To actively monitor political, economic, technological developments
throughout Turkey and globally and observe the impact of these developments on
our members; to keep our members informed and up to date and to offer solutions for problems the
members may encounter.

To become the leading institution which helps to improve the quality of life by contributing to the preservation of Ayvalık’s natural, cultural and historical heritage and its economical growth.

Ayvalık Chamber of Commerce adopts the following as a principle;
